The ISLAND ROOM has a king bed and sleeps 2 adult guests. It has a large private bathroom with shower. Each room has a small refrigerator. Morning coffee/tea served daily in the shared dining room. Downstairs in the small library/tv room is another shared space to catch up on your current events or grab a book to read. Breakfast is included with all stays.

The CANAL ROOM has a king bed (able to convert to 2 twins!) It has a large private bathroom with shower. Each room has a small refrigerator. Morning coffee/tea served daily in the shared dining room. Downstairs in the small library/tv room is another shared space to catch up on your current events or grab a book to read. Breakfast is included with all stays.

04) Shell Room

The SHELL ROOM has a QUEEN bed with a large private bathroom with shower. Each room has a small refrigerator. Morning coffee/tea served daily in the shared dining room. 05) Creekside

The CREEKSIDE ROOM has a king bed, large private bath with jacuzzi tub and shower. Sleeps 2 adults. Morning coffee/tea served daily in the shared dining room. This room is located on the first floor (note there are stairs to walk into the inn as it is a raised property) TV room downstairs, another shared space, to catch up on your current events! Each of our 5 guest rooms have picturesque water views & sun porches for relaxing! The Atlantic Ocean-1.5 miles, Wright Brothers Memorial-3/4 miles+ great dining & sightseeing only minutes away.

06 Cottage

Simply Relaxing. 1 bedroom (queen bed) cottage on the grounds of the Colington Creek Inn B&B. The cottage has water views from all sides of the home. Imagine sitting and relaxing while watching the crab and shrimp fisherman come in and out of the canal. A bountiful breakfast is served daily at the inn and is included. The house is furnished with all linens, towels, cookware, and Keurig. Kayaks and bikes are available. As much as we love them, due to allergies, no animals of any kind are allowed.

CHECK–IN & CHECK–OUT

Check-ins Check-in is after 3pm, however, an early check in may be available if your room is ready. You can always arrive early and begin enjoying the property, or leave your luggage to explore the Outer Banks (OBX) and we will get your items to your room as soon as available and will call or text you to let you know your room is ready when you are. If delayed,please text Dawn at 507-382-5848 or Darold at 252-999-2709.

Check out is anytime before 11:00 am. A late check out may be available, but must be prearranged so we have ample time to prepare the room for guests arriving later that day. You are very welcome to stay on property and relax, or leave your luggage here while you continue exploring the Outer Banks.

GENERAL

PETS: Because we want the inn to be enjoyable for everyone we do not allow pets. We respect our guests with allergies (and we have allergies as well) or other pet related concerns. We can help you with locations to board your fur-babies if you are still interested in staying at the inn.

SMOKING: We do not allow smoking inside our Inn, however, we do have ashtrays by the chairs outside for our guests who do smoke.

CHILDREN: We love children,(we have 7 grandchildren of our own) however, the inn is not suitable for children under 12.

CAPACITY: Only 2 guests per room

BREAKFAST: We start serving at approximately 7:30 am and serve until 8:30ish am. Please let us know if you need breakfast outside of those times or if you have any allergies or dislikes and we will do our best to accomodate you.

Cancellation Policy:
If your travel plans change and you must reschedule or cancel your reservation, please contact us at least 14 days prior to your arrival date. In the event of a cancellation there will be a 25.00 per day, per room, cancellation fee.

If you must cancel with less than 14 days notice, shorten your stay, check out early, or do not show for your stay, please understand that we will ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation regardless of the circumstances. If we can rebook your room(s), a full or partial refund may be made at our discretion. Refunds of this type are made within 10 business days.
